ASP Shikarpur among 100 officials infected by coronavirus
At least two police officials have so far died of coronavirus in Shikarpur.
SHIKARPUR (Dunya News) - It seems like the coronavirus is spreading very fast among the Sindh Police personnel as the number of officials infected by COVID-19 in Shikarpur has reached 100, including an Assistant Superintendent Police (ASP), Dunya News reported on Tuesday.
According to sources, Inspectors and Constables and a Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) were among the infected police officials performing their duties at various police stations.
Sources further informed that an ASI and a Constable have died of the coronavirus so far in the city while 14 police officials have recovered from the deadly disease. At least 84 officials are still under treatment.
