The minister said that the there was a shortage of masks and sanitizers in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Science and TechnologyFawad Chaudhry on Thursday said that Pakistan’s research teams are assisting in the ongoing research on coronavirus in the world.

He said that we have formed a team for research on coronavirus vaccine, adding that Prime Minister Imran Khan asked the doctors and medical staff that we should be making our own safety kits to prevent the spread of pandemic.

The minister said that the there was a shortage of masks and sanitizers in Pakistan and we decided in the first week of March to manufacture our own sanitizers and masks and now we can export hand sanitizers to other countries.

Fawad Ch went on to say that sanitizers and masks were not made in the country before the outbreak of COVID-19 but now Pakistan is manufacturing N95 masks which will cost Rs90.
