NAB had already issued non-bailable warrants against Ashfaq Leghari

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to move an accountability court (AC) in Islamabad to declare Ashfaq Leghari a proclaimed offender in the Harish and Company case, Dunya News reported on Monday.

The anti-corruption watchdog had already issued non-bailable warrants against Ashfaq Leghari – a key suspect in the case in which former president Asif Ali Zardari is the prime accused – and filed a reference against all suspects including the erstwhile president in the accountability court.

Harish and Company is the front company of Asif Zardari’s Park Lane Estates (Pvt) Ltd and received an illegal contract from the Sindh government, the anti-graft body said in the reference.

Sources privy to the matter informed that the amount of the contract was used to pay expenses of the Naudero House through Ashfaq Leghari’s accounts.
