2nd consignment of medical emergency supplies arrives from China

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Second consignment of medical emergency relief items from China has arrived in Pakistan.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), medical relief items against COVID-19 include PCR testing Kits, surgical masks, protective cover all suits, N-95 masks and ventilators.

It is pertinent to mention that yesterday, a team of Chinese doctors arrived in Pakistan along with medical equipment to deal with coronavirus pandemic.

According to a statement issued by ISPR, the Chinese team was led by Major General Huang and it reached Pakistan in two special flights.

The statement further said that the Chinese doctors who have expertise in treating infectious diseases shall support Pakistan’s efforts in fighting against COVID-19 situation for the coming two months.

Chairman Joints Chiefs of Staff Committee Gen (CJCSC) Gen Nadeem Raza welcomed the Chinese team on its arrival.

The Chinese support reaffirms that being ‘Iron Brothers’, Pakistan and China have always helped each other in the time of need.
