Punjab govt to give additional one month pay to doctors, other medical staff
CM Buzdar paid tribute to the doctors and paramedics in their effort in fight against COVID-19.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar on Thursday announced to give additional one month pay to doctors and other medical staff who put their lives in danger while treating the coronavirus patients.
Addressing the meeting of cabinet committee for the eradication of coronavirus at his office, the CM reiterated that the heirs of an employee, died during the anti-corona drive, would not be left alone, and if anybody died, the heirs would be provided financial aid under the martyr’s package.
CM Buzdar paid tribute to the doctors and paramedics in their effort in fight against COVID-19, saying that their services in this time of need will always be remembered.
The meeting also reviewed the coronavirus situation, availability of PPE and other material and the precautionary measures in detail.
