Sindh government considers easing lockdown after April 14

SOPs are being formulated for shops and trading centers to operate in accordance with

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh government has started weighing up loosening the provincial lockdown after April 14. It is expected that after April 15, trading activities will resume for a limited time during the day while complying with stipulated SOPs.

According to Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shallwani, allowing bakeries and restaurants to do deliveries, take-away and reopening shops, markets and industries is under consideration.

He said that SOPs are being formulated which shops and trading centers will have to operate in accordance with. Failure to do so will result in that particular shop or market getting sealed.

The Commissioner further said that once the SOPs are formulated, they will be sent to Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah for approval, after which, they will be applied across the province .
