Coronavirus: Ch Pervaiz Elahi calls All-Party Advisory Committee meeting
The committee will review measures taken by the government to mitigate the effects of the virus
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has called a meeting of the All-Party Advisory Committee to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The meeting of the All-Party Advisory Committee will be conducted via video-link on April 10 and it will be convened by the Speaker himself.
Leaders from Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Pakistan Peoples Party and Independent parliamentarians will take part in the meeting. The 11-member committee will review measures taken by the government to mitigate the effects of the coronavirus and ways to overcome it.
In a statement by Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, he said that fulfilling the economic needs of the people shold be the foremost priority of the government and all political parties should avoid blame game and slinging mud at each other in this sensitive time.
