PM to chair NCC meeting on coronavirus today

The meeting will dilate upon the transportation of goods in the current situation.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - National Coordination Committee (NCC) on coronavirus will meet in Islamabad today with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair.

NCC will further discuss ways and means to effectively deal with pandemic and its impact on the country. The provincial chief ministers and the AJK Prime Minister will attend the meeting.

The meeting will also dilate upon the transportation of goods in the current situation.

Earlier, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan said that coronavirus situation in Pakistan is feared to aggravate however, the rate of rise in the cases may be gauged in one week time.

While addressing the inaugural ceremony of Cantonment General Hospital in Rawalpindi, the premier said that the government has been preparing to combat coronavirus since January.
