Scientists, Engineers, NCA, SPD employees to contribute in corona relief fund
Prior to this, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Jawed Bajwa gave one months salary into the fund
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Pak Army’s Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced today that in light of the increasing coronavirus cases in the country, scientists, engineers and employees of National Command Authority (NCA) and Strategic Plans Division (SPD) have decided to make contributions in the government’s corona relief fund.
According to ISPR, employees of pay scales 1-7 will contribute one day’s salary, scales 8-10 two days’ salary and scales 11-14 employees will contribute three days’ salary in the government’s relief fund.
ISPR also says that Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff committee Genral Nadeem Raza has contributed his salary of one month to the relief fund.
Prior to this, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Jawed Bajwa gave one month’s salary into the relief fund.
Moreover, officers with ranks of Brigadier to Lieutenant General contributed 3 days’ salary, ranks of cadet to colonel 2 days’ salary and troops with ranks of sepoy to Junior commissioned Officer (JCO) contributed one day’s salary to help fight against the pandemic.
