Coronavirus: Uninfected pilgrims start returning home
The remaining pilgrims will be sent back by Friday night
DERA GHAZI KHAN (Dunya News) – It has been decided that pilgrims who cleared coronavirus screening tests after remaining in quarantine for 14 days should be sent back home.
The pilgrims were sent back under the supervision of deputy commissioner Tahir Farooq from the Danish center quarantine center in DG Khan. Political assistant Syed Musa Raza, ADCR Samiullah Farooq and others were also present on this occasion.
The remaining pilgrims from the 466 who cleared their screening tests will be sent back by Friday night.
DC Tahir Farooq said that 103 pilgrims of DG Khan Division have been sent back home whereas 316 remaining pilgrims of Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpndi, Sargodha and Gujranwala will be sent back by tonight.
He also said that on direction of Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, the pilgrims in DG Khan were very well taken care of and a medical team had arrived especially from Lahore for their medical assistance.
