CM Sindh approves purchase of 10,000 testing kits
This approval was granted during a meeting of the coronavirus task force chaired by the CM
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has approved the purchase of 10000 coronavirus testing kits.
According to details, the Sindh government has approved the procurement of new kits in light of the increasing number of cases in the province.
This approval was granted during a meeting of the coronavirus task force chaired by the CM.
During the meeting, CM was briefed that a total of 413 cases of the virus have been confirmed in the province. Of those 413, 265 are pilgrims from Iran and 94 are locally transmitted cases.
After the meeting, Murad Ali Shah approved the procurement of 290 ventilators and 29 portable X-ray machines.
