ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In light of recent hardships facing the people, Federal government has decided to pay pensions and salaries to government employees beforehand.
According to sources, this was done on the direction of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The federal government will transfer salaries and pensions to employees’ accounts by Friday.
Advisor to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Finance and Revenue Abdul Hafeez Shaikh directed the immediate making of payroll to ensure that salaries and pensions would be given by March 27.
On Tuesday, the government introduced an economic relief package worth Rs1.25 trillion to stabilize the country s economy and aid the struggling masses.
