Siraj-ul-Haq demands provision of 15-days food before lockdown
Siraj-ul-Haq also urged landlords to waive off a month's rent of the tenants on humanitarian grounds
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Siraj-ul-Haq has said that his party does not oppose lockdown as it is need of the hour, but government should provide food for 15 days to masses.
Addressing a press conference, Senator Siraj-ul-Haq said that government should help Pakistani nationals who are stranded abroad. He also asked government to waive utility bills of those who earn less than Rs25000.
Siraj-ul-Haq also urged landlords to waive a month’s rent of the tenants on humanitarian grounds.
