Sukkur: Quarantined pilgrims come out of isolation, protest against administration.
SUKKUR (Dunya News) – The quarantined pilgrims in Sukkur Saturday came out of isolation and protested against the administration by gathering in front of the main gate of the quarantine center.
The pilgrims maintained that the administration has detained them without any reason and they are not being allowed meet their families and get supplies from them. The protesters demanded that they should be allowed to meet their families and volunteers who want to visit them.
On the other hand, the coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged to 543 as 267 patients have been tested positive for the epidemic in Sindh, 104 in Balochistan, 104 in Punjab, 27 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 30 in Gilgit-Baltistan, ten in Islamabad and one Azad Kashmir.
Pakistan has so far confirmed three fatalities from the pandemic, with latest casualty being a 77-year-old man in Karachi on Friday (yesterday). The first two deaths were reported in Mardan and Hangu of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
