Funeral prayers of Lieutenant Agha Muqadas offered in Lahore.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The funeral prayers of Lieutenant Agha Muqadas Ali Khan have on Thursday been offered in Lahore’s Shad Bagh area, Dunya News reported.
Top military and civil officers attended the funeral prayers along with the relatives of the martyred and locals who had gathered in larger numbers. The participants prayed for the departed soul.
It is pertinent here to mention that Lieutenant Agha Muqadas embraced martyrdom along with three other Pakistan Army soldiers on Wednesday during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) on a terrorist hideout in Datta Khel, North Waziristan.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), seven terrorists were killed during the exchange of fire. Security forces recovered huge cache of weapons from the hideout.
Hawaldar Qamar Nadeem, Sepoy Muhammad Qasim and Tauseef were the others who were martyred.
