Govt fails to play central role amid increasing fears of coronavirus: Shehbaz

LONDON (Dunya News) – Leader of Opposition in National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday said that comprehensive policy should be adopted for prevention, protection and treatment of novel coronavirus.
In a statement issued on Sunday, he said that the government should contact China for professional advice on dealing with the coronavirus.
Shahbaz said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has failed to play a central role in the increasing fears of the coronavirus.
The PML-N president went on to say that instead of giving billions of rupees to disgruntled party members, the government should allocate funds for to contain coronavirus pandemic.
