Severing ties with Pakistan dangerous: Mullen

US chief of the armed forces Mike Mullen has said Pakistan was passing through a difficult period.

Pakistan was severely criticized by the world after killing of Osama Bin laden. The world should give time to Pakistan for getting out of difficult times, he added. If ties are not maintained with Pakistan, the US would have to repent after two decades, he warned. Cutting ties with Pakistan could be very dangerous.
