PM Khan calls meeting to assess Pakistan Citizens Portal's effectiveness

The overall performance of federal and provincial portals of complaints will be analysed.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned an important meeting in the next week to review provision of relief to the public through Pakistan Citizens Portal – an integrated citizens grievance redressal system connecting all government organizations both at federal and provincial levels.

Reportedly, the premier has directed the concerned officials to present a report about the complaints filed by the general public and to what extent they were resolved and addressed.

All federal secretaries, provincial chief secretaries, inspector generals of police (IGs), senior officials of ministries and agencies have been ordered to attend the meeting.

The overall performance of federal and provincial portals of complaints will be analysed.

Specifically, the prime minister will be given a briefing on provision of relief to the public via the portal.

The PM Delivery Unit will submit a report on the implementation of letters written to institutions.

Importantly, performance of all federal secretaries, provincial chief secretaries and IGs will be examined.
