Govt extends date of receiving Hajj applications by 2 days

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Ministry of Religious Affairs has extended the date of receiving Hajj applications by two days due to public demand and prevailing situation in the country.

A spokesman of the Ministry said the Hajj applications for government scheme will now be received till Sunday.

The balloting will be held on March 12, 2020.

The applicants were facing difficulties due to snowfall and flood situation in different parts of the country.

According to spokesman of the ministry, the designated branches of 13 scheduled banks had received 126650 Hajj applications under the Government Hajj Scheme.
