Pakistan reports another case of coronavirus
The number of Coronavirus cases in Sindh province reached to six.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Another case of the coronavirus was reported in Pakistan on Thursday, with another patient diagnosed with the virus in Karachi.
Spokesperson of the Sindh Chief Minister said that another case of Coronavirus has been reported in the metropolis, after which the number of patients in Sindh province reached to six.
The spokesperson said that the new Coronavirus patient is 69 years old.
In his tweet, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza has also confirmed the sixth case of the coronavirus in Pakistan.
He said that the patient "is in clinically stable condition in Sindh and is being well taken care of".

Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah took notice of the case and directed officials to trace and test all those who have been in contact with the patient.
Earlier today, Dr Zafar Mirza said that Pakistan has screened 7,60,000 people for the novel coronavirus and five persons in the country have tested positive so far.
Chairing a meeting of the Coronavirus Emergency Core Group, the special assistant said over 7,60,000 people entering the country were checked at various entry points.
"The federal and provincial governments, as well as other institutions, are fully ready to meet the challenge and protect the people," he said.
The total number of COVID-19 infections in Pakistan rose to five on Tuesday. Education institutions in Sindh, Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan have been closed after the deadly virus surfaced.
On Tuesday, Pakistan had reported a new coronavirus case, bringing the total to five in the south Asian nation since last week.
“We have now 5th confirmed case of COVID19 in federal areas,” the country’s health minister said in a tweet.
The patient is stable and being managed well, the minister added.
The southern province of Sindh on Monday extended the closure of all educational institutions following the confirmation of a second coronavirus case in Karachi, the country’s largest city.
Pakistan announced its first two cases of COVID19 last Wednesday.
Pakistan has also closed its border with Iran and Afghanistan.
The novel virus reportedly first originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December last year and has claimed over 3,200 lives globally.
The World Health Organisation last week raised the global virus risk to maximum level after the outbreak spread to sub-Saharan Africa and stock markets around the world plummeted.
The pandemic has triggered panic around the world after it killed more than 2,700 people around the world (mostly in China) and affected more than 80,000 around the world. Iran has emerged as a major hotspot, with 139 reported cases and 19 deaths.
The virus, which causes people to suffer from pneumonia, causes people to suffer from cough, fever and breathing difficulties. The virus originated from Wuhan s wet markets and have spread to Europe and South Asia.
