Govt steps up coronavirus checks at airports

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Government has increased measures at airports to prevent outbreak of coronavirus in the county. Submitting health declaration form is now required to enter Pakistan.

Secretary Aviation has directed all airport managers to not allow flights that did not submit health declaration forms.

Foreign airline’s Peshawar bound flight was barred from taking off for not submitting passengers’ health forms. However flight was allowed to take off after assurances.

According to Civil Aviation spokesman, passengers arriving from Iran, China and Gulf countries will be required to submit travel record of last 15 days.
