Bilawal said that masses are continuously facing problems due to inflation
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday made it clear that his party will not become part of any undemocratic conspiracy to oust the government.
While talking to the PPP Central Punjab leadership in a meeting held at the Bilawal House, he announced campaign of rallies and protests against inflation. PPP does not accept ‘selected Prime Minister’, he added.
Bilawal said that masses are continuously facing problems due to inflation and unemployment as IMF’s deal did not take into account the common man’s problems.
He also said that government’s tax targets are breaking backbone of masses and PPP also went to IMF but did not enforce just a cruel deal.
Chairman of PPP said that they want to remove the government through a constitutional process and PPP will not become part of any undemocratic conspiracy.
Later during a press conference in Lahore, Bilalwal Bhutto said that he will continue to fight economic injustice. He also expressed hope that Shehbaz Sharif will return soon and play role his role as Opposition Leader.
Chairman PPP demanded government to renegotiate a better deal with IMF. He added that only elected instead of selected representatives can resolve issues of the people. PPP will continue to raise voice against economic slaughter of poor, laborers, farmers and businessmen, he said.
He strongly condemned the murder of journalist Aziz Memon and said that PPP wants a police which is not involved in politics. If journalist s family wants a judicial commission to be formed, government will constitute one, he added.
Bilawal Bhutto said that this story does not end with Aziz Memon and asked who earlier filed terrorism cases against journalists. Such tactics are being used against journalists under a conspiracy, he added.
