ML-1 important project for Pakistan Railways: Sh Rashid
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid on Wednesday has said that ML-1 is an important project to uplift Pakistan Railways.
While talking to media persons outside Supreme Court (SC), the minister said that this project will provide immense job opportunities to the youth.
Regarding Karachi Circular Railway, he said both federation and provincial government are on the same page on this project. He said we have also submitted a business plan of Pakistan Railways before the apex court.
Meanwhile, Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has said that the ML-1 project of Pakistan Railways will be presented before the next meeting of Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) that will be held in April.
He said that the process of the project s approval from Central Development Working Party and the Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) will be completed in time.
