Train bogies get separated while running in Khairpur

KARACHI (Dunya News) – In a bizarre incident, the engine and bogies of a running Awam Express got separated from the remaining bogies after its coupling broke down in Setharja near Khairpur, however, no casualties were reported.
According to sources, the train was divided into two parts as the engine went ahead with two compartments. Driver of the train stopped the train with an emergency brake.
Sources in Railway Department claim that frequent accidents are occurring due to lack of maintenance.
Earlier in the morning, wheel trolley of Business Express’s compartment also got separated.
