PM Imran to meet 'disgruntled political allies' in Lahore today
Mr Buzdar will also give a briefing to the premier on the performance of the Punjab government.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday has arrived in Lahore on a day-long visit to consider reservations of political allies and analyse performance of the provincial government of Punjab.
During the visit, the prime minister will hold separate meetings with Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and members of the provincial cabinet to improve political affairs among government allies.
Importantly, the ruling party members will review reservations of their allies in the government in another meeting with their political leaders. Mr Buzdar will also give a briefing to the premier on the performance of the Punjab government.
The demand and supply of wheat and flour as well as prices of essential commodities in the province will come under discussion during the meeting.
Yesterday, President Dr Arif Alvi held a meeting with Governor Sarwar at the Governor House to discuss various government affairs.
During the meeting, the governor apprised the president about the measures taken by Punjab Aab-e-Pak Authority for provision of clean drinking water to the public. He also briefed the president about reforms and other initiatives, launched in the universities.
