Senate session: Mushahidullah alleges Farogh Naseem of threatening him
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mushahidullah Khan on Friday has alleged Federal Minister for Law and Justice Farogh Naseem of threatening him.
During his address in Senate, the PML-N leader responded to Naseem’s threats and said that he is not afraid of anyone.
Reacting to Khan’s remarks, Leader of the House in the Senate Shibli Faraz clarified the federal law minister did not threaten the PML-N membe and talked in some other scenerio.
He also assured that soon Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will brief the House about Prime Minister’s activities at World Economic Forum.
Meanwhile, Senate was informed that government is focusing on increasing share of renewable energy to provide cheap electricity to consumers.
Energy Minister Omar Ayub told the Upper House during question hour that government is striving to bring electricity price to 4.35 rupees per unit by introducing renewable energy projects.
The minister told the House that previous governments preferred costly RLNG projects instead of using renewable sources.
