Wheat import case: LHC summons federation, SBP officials on January 29
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday has summoned representatives of federal government and State Bank of Pakistan along with their replies till January 29 on a plea filed against import of wheat.
According to details, Chief Justice of LHC Mamoon Rasheed Sheikh heard the case.
During the proceedings, plaintiff Kisan Bachao Tehreek’s president Nasir Javed Ghuman stated that the imported 300,000 ton wheat will reach Pakistan on March 31.
The wheat import will badly affect farmers, he added.
