Accused wanted in 26 cases of heinous crimes arrested from Indonesia
Police said that Luqman Butt alias Halaku was wanted in 26 cases of murder, robbery and extortion.
GURANWALA (Dunya News) – An accused wanted in 26 cases of murder, robbery and extortion was arrested by Gujranwala police from Indonesia with the help of Interpol, Dunya News reported.
According to police officials, accused Luqman Butt alias Halaku was operating an extortion network from abroad to extort money from traders and industrialists of Gujranwala and those who refused to pay the extortion money were either murdered of injured in firing.
Police officials further informed that Luqman Butt, carrying a head money of Rs 5 lakh, was wanted in 26 cases of murder, robbery and extortion will be brought back to Pakistan today (Friday).
