Sindh police involved in conspiracies against provincial government: Saeed Ghani.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Information Minister Saeed Ghani has Saturday alleged that some elements of Sindh police are involved in hatching conspiracies against the provincial government.
Saeed Ghani talked to media and said Sindh Inspector General (IG) Kaleem Imam has become controversial and any other person in his place would have resigned by now. A person who brings dishonor to the government should quit, he remarked.
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader alleged that some people are plotting against Sindh government under the IG. Police officers should not support or oppose anyone. Those personnel who want to assist Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) should leave their job and join the party, he stressed.
Saeed Ghani said he is not afraid of cheap tactics by the opponents and affirmed that he is ready to face investigations regarding the allegations that have been leveled against him.
The information minister said protests were staged during the PPP tenure against hike in petrol prices, but none of our allies held demonstrations against unemployment. The incompetent government of PTI surged the petroleum prices to highest level in history.
