KESC willing to reduce power unit by Rs 0.69

The decrease in electricity tariff will give a relief of Rs 79 million to the KESC consumers.

The Karachi Electric Supply Cooperation (KESC) submitted an application to National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) for reduction in electricity tariff by Rs 0.69 per unit.The reduction will be applicable on the electricity bills for the month of April and it will give the relief of Rs 79 million to the consumers.The KESC sold some 1.32 billion units of electricity in April. However, the reduction is linked with the NEPRA’s approval.
