PML-N won't be pressurized with Ahsan Iqbal's arrest: Marriyum Aurangzeb
She said the government has sold the country to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Monday while strongly condemning the arrest of party leader and former interior minister Ahsan Iqbal said that another masterpiece of NAB-Niazi alliance has been presented.
Talking to media in Islamabad on Monday, she said that the sports city project was approved by the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) government and billions of rupees were being wasted, adding that Ahsan Iqbal has tirelessly served the country.
Marriyum Aurangzeb went on to say that the PML-N cannot be pressurized with the arrest of party leader Ahsan Iqbal.
She said that Iqbal had a surgery three days ago, adding that the surgery was related to the incident last year in May, where an assailant shot at then interior minister in his own constituency, Narowal. Iqbal s bone was fractured after he received a bullet in his right shoulder.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government will be soon sent packing,” she said and added the government has sold the country to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
