CM Buzdar expresses anger over poor cleanliness in various area of Lahore

The CM said no negligence or laziness would be tolerated regarding cleanliness arrangements.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Sunday while expressing anger over poor cleanliness in several areas of the provincial capital demanded a report from the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and Waste Management Company officials.

Taking strict notice of the poor cleanliness, he directed to make better cleanliness arrangements in the city, while using all the resources for garbage collection from the roads.

The chief minister further said that no negligence or laziness would be tolerated regarding cleanliness arrangements.

CM Buzdar said that it is the responsibility of the concerned departments to ensure cleanliness.

On the other hand, the CM also visited an under-construction building of Panagah (Shelter Home) in Taunsa where he was thoroughly briefed about the project.

He said the horizon of Panagah project would be extended to other cities of the province as per the direction of Prime Minister Imran Khan, adding that the “Panagah project” was not less than a blessing for homeless people, adding that there should be no delay in this regard.

Usman Buzdar said the state was fulfilling its duty by providing shelter and food to the people who spend nights on roads.

In past, he said, unfortunately there was no example of treating destitute segment of society in such a kind manner.

The chief minister said that it was among the priorities of the present government to serve humanity besides working for its betterment. “He was personally monitoring the construction work of the Panagah,” he said and also directed the relevant authority to complete the construction work at the earliest.
