One killed, three injured in road mishap in Karachi
Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to hospital.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A woman was killed and three other persons sustained injuries when a speeding trailer rolled over onto a motorcycle in North Nazimabad area of Karachi on Wednesday night, Dunya News reported.
According to eye-witnesses, the trailer rolled over onto a motorcycle at the Shahra-e-Noor Jehan after its brakes failed, killing a woman on the spot and injuring her husband. The driver and cleaner of the trailer were also wounded in the accident.
Rescue teams and local residents retrieved the dead and injured trapped under the trailer and shifted them to hospital. Rescue sources said that heavy machinery was used to lift the trailer and retrieve the trapped persons.
