Billions of rupees coming through plea bargain, claims Sh Rasheed
Sh Rasheed said the voters of the PTI is not ready to give concessions to the thieves and robbers.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed on Monday claimed that billions of rupees were being transferred through plea bargain which would complete until March next year.
Speaking exclusively at Dunya News programme “On the Front”, he said that no one in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is there to replace Prime Minister Imran Khan, adding that the PTI is nothing without the PTI. Opposition should be left on its own, he said.
Regarding for president and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman, Rasheed said that Asif Zardari is not a danger for the government, adding that he supports sending him abroad as his health condition is not good.
Launching a tirade against the former prime minister, the federal minister said that no reports regarding Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif’s platelets has come out for the last couple of days. Nawaz Sharif had the disease of blood supply 20 years ago, he said.
Regarding Sharif’s health, Sheikh Rasheed said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is unhappy about the false medical reports, adding that a drama regarding the ex-PM’s health was staged that Imran Khan considered appropriate it for sending the PML-N supremo abroad for medical treatment.
“The voters of the PTI is not ready to give concessions to thieves and robbers,” he said.
Regading country’s economic situation, he said the prime minister is satisfied with the economy but is worried by inflation.
He said: “The US dollar depreciated by Rs10 against Pakistani rupee and the international institutions are also acknowledging economic performance, adding that the prime minister is working tirelessly to control inflation.”
