Hospital denies police claim as buried human bones recovered in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Administrator of the nearby private hospital Nusrat Fahim on Wednesday has denied police claim regarding recovery of buried human bones in Karachi’s Annu Park.

The administrator told, “The hospital management doesn’t bury bones like this. We do not cut body parts on daily basis and when we perform such action, the bones are responsibly handed over to the family of the patients.”

“If nobody collects them, we bury them in a graveyard,” he went on to say.

The reaction came after police officers found bones wrapped in rolls of clothes during an excavation near Annu Bhai Park located in Nazimabad.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Arif Saleem Rao said that the recovered bones were separated from bodies during surgeries and operations of sugar patients.

Moreover, invetsigation into the matter is underway.
