The Pakistan Foreign Office has declared that drone attacks were harmful for the war on terror.
During a weekly briefing, Foreign Office spokesperson Tehmina Janjua said that the issue of drone attacks had been raised with the US officials.She said that US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would soon visit Pakistan, but the date of her visit had not been fixed yet.On the investigation into the Abbottabad operation, the spokesperson said the process of investigations was going on in line with the resolution passed by the joint session of parliament. She also said that the process of talks with India and Afghanistan was smoothly going on.To a question, she said that Pakistan had friendly relations with Iran. She said that Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar’s talks with US official Marc Grossman were positive. She said that trilateral talks between Pakistan, US and Afghanistan would be held next week in Kabul.She said that she could not comment on US Senator John Kerry’s statement that four teams were investigating the Abbottabad operation. Kerry had said that Pakistan had formed high level four officials’ teams which include army, ISI, air force and civilian commission to investigation Osama’s presence in Abbottabad.
