ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The federal capital is facing a shortage of wheat as participants of Azadi March are eating 10 breads on average in a day.

Market sources said the price of flour has increased in Islamabad and all the flour available in open market is being supplied to capital that can affect the supply of flour to Azad Kashmir, Galiat and Gilgit Baltistan.

Flour is being sold at a rate of Rs 64 per Kg instead of Rs 60. The owners of shops said the rents have been increased and inflation has risen that is the reason they are demanding high prices for flour.

Flour mills have also increased prices of flour packs by Rs 80.

Sources said Islamabad is also facing shortage of packed milk.
