Tezgam fire: Pakistan Army airlifts the injured to hospital.

RAHIM YAR KHAN (Dunya News) – Following a cylinder explosion in Tezgam Express near Talwari Station in Liaquatpur area of Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan Army Thursday reached the incident spot and shifted the injured to hospital by military helicopter. 

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), doctors and paramedics of Pakistan Army treated the wounded passengers and the army personnel participated in the rescue operation.

On the other hand, the death toll has reached 71 and dozens have sustained critical burn wounds. It is pertinent here to mention that three bogies of Tezgam Express caught fire when the cylinder exploded while Tableeghi Jamaat passengers were cooking breakfast in the train bound from Karachi to Rawalpindi.
