COAS appreciates performance and contributions of Baloch Regiment
Lt Gen Azhar Abbas installed as new Colonel Commandant of Baloch Regiment.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday visited Abbottabad and installed Lieutenant General Azhar Abbass as the new Colonel Commandant Baloch Regiment.
In a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Colonel Commandant installation Ceremony was held at Baloch Regiment Centre in Abbottabad and attended by and retired officers and soldiers of the Baloch regiment.

Speaking on the occasion, the COAS appreciated the performance and contributions of the Baloch Regiment during peace, war as well as during internal security operations.

Earlier upon arrival at the Baloch Regiment Centre, Gen Qamar Bajwa laid floral wreath on Shahuada Monument.
