Rain, snowfall turn weather chilly in parts of country
mountainous areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Gilgit Baltistan received snow.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Cold wave has gripped most parts of the country after rain various cities and snowfall in hilly areas on Friday, Dunya News reported.
Rain started in Lahore in the morning which continued during the day, sending the temperature further down.
Sialkot, Sheikhupura, Okara, Chiniot Jhang, Toba Tek Singh and other parts of Punjab also received rain.
On the other hand, mountainous areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Gilgit Baltistan received snow, the first of the winter season.
Minimarg, Qamri, Khanjrab Top and Shandur Top and other hilly areas received first snowfall of the season, dipping temperatures.
