Punjab govt to ban wagons, rickshaws operating on LPG
Divisional SPs have also been instructed to start an awareness campaign against substandard cylinder
LAHORE (Dunya News) – City traffic police has decided to ban all those wagons and rickshaws operating on LPG. Action would be taken after November 1.
CTO Lahore captain (r) Liaqut Ali sent the official order to district administration. Divisional SPs have also been instructed to start an awareness campaign against ill standard cylinders.
CTO said only HDIP passed cylinders are allowed in commercial vehicles and number of cylinders cannot be exceeded from the given limit. He said fire fighting cylinders are also necessary in vehicles.
He further said only one cylinder is allowed in small cars, adding that public must avoid transport with substandard cylinders to ensure their safety.
