Executive engineer of KWSB held chairman accountable for the debacle of sewerage system in Karachi.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Ineligibility of Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) has made Malir Town a commonplace for wastewater which is causing a lot of trouble for the citizens including students.

Each resident of the Malir Town has been facing problems due to malfunctioned sewerage system. Government Jamia Millia Degree College is one of the biggest educational institutions in the city and thousands of its students have to pass through bad sewerage system of Malir owing to damaged roads.

Waste and overflowing of gutters in the metropolis has made the lives of citizens difficult. A resident of Malir Town expressed, “Roads do not get constructed in the city, and even if they somehow get built, poor sewerage system adversely affect them”.

Due to the poor sewerage system, passing through Jamia Millia road is no less than a test. Citizens expressed that if the problems are not resolved, there will be a protest outside the KWSB office.
