Moon not sighted, 1st Safar on October 1
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman announced that the moon was not sighted and first Safar would fall on Oct 1.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee on Sunday announced that the moon of Safar-ul-Muzaffar was not sighted across the country, hence the second Islamic month of 1441 Hijri, would fall on Tuesday October 1.
The meeting of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee was held at Pakistan Meteorological Department building under the chair of Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman.
Chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman announced that the moon was not sighted and first Safar-ul-Muzaffar would fall on Tuesday October 1.
