Million rupees of irregularities found in Lahore metro bus project

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Special audit report of the Auditor General of Pakistan (AGP) pointed out irregularities of about Rs120 million in the decoration of Lahore metro bus track.

The report stated that the PHA and contractors allegedly colluded which resulted in million rupees of loss to the national exchequer. Rs118.49 million of irregularities were found in the audit report of metro bus project.

The audit report further stated that there was no plantation on the track and funds got vanished from the report. The administrative control of the PHA officers was found to be extremely poor. The AGP has issued orders for departmental proceedings against the concerned PHA officials.
