LHC nominates Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan as SC judge

Justice Amin-ud-Din is currently standing on fifth in the seniority list of judges.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday has nominated Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan as the Supreme Court judge in the meeting of Judicial Commission chaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Asif Saeed Khosa.

According to details, the meeting was attended by members of the Judicial Commission including senior SC judge, Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Federal Minister for Law and Attorney General Mansoor Ahmed.

Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan belongs to Multan and was appointed as HC judge on May 12, 2011. Justice Amin-ud-Din is currently standing on fifth in the seniority list of judges.

The retirement of Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed left the vacancy of a judge in the SC. Now, with the appointment of next candidate as the SC judge, 17 posts of judges will be completed in the Supreme Court.
