India bound to give self-determination rights to Kashmiris: CM Buzdar

The Indian government is following a policy of stubbornness over Kashmir, said CM Buzdar.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the Kashmiris should be allowed to decide about their future as India is bound to give the right of self-determination to the Kashmiris under the United Nations (UN) resolutions.

CM Buzdar expressed that the Prime Minister Imran Khan has given a clear message to the world that Pakistan stands with the Kashmiris in every respect and they will never be left alone.

In a statement, he said that food, medicines and other essential items are badly needed in occupied Kashmir as people are dying but the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government has pinpointed its attention to the protection of cows only.

He said that the right of life should not be snatched from the Kashmiris. India must end continued curfew in cccupied Kashmir; the innocent citizens should be released and communication barriers must be immediately removed, he added.

The chief minister said that worst-ever human tragedy of the century is expected to happen in the cccupied Kashmir as, unfortunately, the Indian government is following a policy of stubbornness. “If Narendra Modi has any courage, then he should dare hold a public gathering in Srinagar as Prime Minister Imran Khan successfully held a huge public meeting in Muzaffarabad”, he added.

The coming generations will have to face the consequences of the seeds of fanaticism sown by Modi in India, he expressed.
