PM Imran meets Saudi Crown Prince, discusses Kashmir issue
Imran Khan also strongly condemned recent attack on Saudi oil facilities.
JEDDAH (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan, who arrived in Saudi Arabia on a two-day visit on Thursday, held an important meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to bilateral relations and bilateral interests.
The prime minister apprised the Saudi crown prince of current situation in Indian occupied Kashmir.
Imran Khan also strongly condemned recent attack on Saudi oil facilities.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Economy and Finance, Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Sayed Zulfi Bukhari, Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Raja Ali Ijaz were also present in the meeting.
Earlier today, PM Imran Khan arrived in Saudi Arabia to discuss various dimensions of the grave situation in Occupied Kashmir with Saudi leadership.
On arrival at royal terminal of Jeddah, the Prime Minister was welcomed by Governor of Makkah.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, the prime minister is visiting Saudi Arabia before his tour to New York to attend the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
FO spokesman Dr Faisal said that the premier has been in regular contact on the Kashmir issue with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
He said the two sides will also discuss ways of further strengthening the economic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The PM’s visit to Saudi Arabia will further reinforce the close fraternal ties between the two countries and deepen bilateral cooperation in diverse fields.
