KARACHI (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Karachi on Saturday (tomorrow) has been postponed.

The prime minister was scheduled to visit Karachi on Saturday.

Sources said that the prime minister will visit Karachi after the Karachi Strategic Committee prepared its recommendations.

Imran Khan was expected to hold separate meetings with party’s Member Provincial Assembly (MPAs) and representatives of the business community.

On Sunday, PM Imran Khan had formed a high-level committee led by Law Minister Dr Farogh Naseem to prepare a short term, medium-term, and long term strategy to solve problems being faced by the residents of Karachi.

The prime minister said that Pakistan’s future is linked with the future of Karachi as this city is our economic hub.

He said that federal government wants to address the problems of Karachi to ensure better facilities for the residents, adding that citizens of Karachi are facing the consequences of mismanagement.

Imran Khan went on to say that federal government will play its every possible role for addressing the issues of Karachi.
