British MP welcomes President Trumps offer of mediation on Kashmir
Jess Phillips issued a statement on Kashmir issue on Saturday.
(Web Desk) – Member of British Parliament from Labour Party, Jess Phillips, has welcomed United States President Donald Trump’s repeated offer of mediation to both India and Pakistan for resolution of the much-delayed Kashmir issue.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Phillips urged her country, especially the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, to perform his due role for settlement of Kashmir issue.
The British Parliament member said since Kashmir issue was primarily created by Britain, therefore it was London’s moral and diplomatic responsibility to ensure its early durable and permanent settlement.
Describing Trump’s offer of mediation and arbitration as timely in the current regional and international situation, Jess Phillips, said India must stop the reign of human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
