Unofficial result: PPP's Sardar Bakhsh Mahar wins Ghotki by-election
PPP's Sardar Muhammad Bukhsh Khan Mahar bagged 89,285 votes to win NA-205-Ghotki by-poll.
GHOTKI (Dunya News) - Sardar Muhammad Bukhsh Khan Maher of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) won the by-election of National Assembly constituency NA-205-Ghotki on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
According to unofficial and unverified result, PPP’s Sardar Muhammad Bukhsh Khan Maher bagged 89,285 votes to win NA-205-Ghotki by-poll. Independent candidate Sardar Ahmed Ali remained second by getting 72,509 votes.
The National Assembly seat from Ghotki fell vacant after the death of federal minister for narcotics control Ali Mohammad Mahar on May 21 due to cardiac arrest.
